This is the double page spread of my preliminary task. Me and Dan both worked on different aspects of this page. I did most of the article, and added in interviews that we both gathered around the sixth form. Dan took the picture and did most of the editing on Photoshop. Before doing all of this, I looked at real media double page spread and with this information I guided Dan and told him what codes and conventions should be included when editing. When we first thought the double page spread was done, it did not look right, therefore I decided to add the quote on the right hand side of the page. I also noticed that the large letter was missing. I noticed this when looking back on real media magazine. Eventually I added the large letter in. Overall the final product looks quite professional as it uses most the codes and conventions that would be seen in other magazines.
